Day 1 : arrival, sunset cruise

A pleasant arrival experience at Cochin Airport as you meets the Executive of Oscon Holidays. Transfer to your hotel (45 minutes) and check in. Evening, go for a sunset cruise in a private boat. The exciting boating trip gives you a panoramic view of the Marine Drive, the Cochin Port and the Bolgatty Island. Take a close look at the massive Chinese fishing nets erected in the 15th century as the boat skim past Fort Cochin. Cruise till the estuary to watch the soothing sight of sunset and return to Marine Drive jetty. Return to hotel by road. Dinner at the hotel. Night in Cochin.

Day 2 : sightseeing, theater show

Cochin is so rich in heritage. Know about its legendary past as you go on a guided morning sightseeing in Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace built in 1557 and renowned for its murals; St. Francis Church built in 1503 by the Portuguese; Jewish Synagogue, the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth and the huge Chinese Fishing Nets erected between 1350 and 1450 AD. Return to hotel for lunch. Relax at the hotel till about 4:30 pm A 1½ hour program designed to reflect almost the entire gamut of Kerala’s ancient and uniquely multi-discipline culture in seamless, vibrant and in a colorful manner. Includes stunning performance of Mohiniyattam , Bharathanattiayam ,Kuchhipudi, Kalaripayattu & Kathakali -perhaps the only dance form in which the entire body is used to portray a story. 5pm to 6 pm will be the makeup time . 6pm to 7.30 will be the actual show and back to hotel by 8 pm .Overnight in Cochin.

Day 3 : Kalamandalam tour – A day with the Masters

Wake up early morning to start for Cheruthuruthy by 6 am. Take a 3 hour drive to reach the renowned Kerala Kalamandalam, the seat of Kerala's art and culture. Go on a structured campus tour called 'A Day With the Masters' from 9am to 1230pm guided tour visiting teaching classes , Koothambalam , visit to vallatholl museum etc.., drive back to the hotel in Cochin. Evening free. Overnight in Cochin

Day 4 : Houseboat cruise – an experience unique to Kerala

Early morning checkout from the hotel and drive to Chottanikkara (30 minutes) to visit the famed Devi (Goddess) temple and learn about the traditional ways of worshipping by the Hindu community of Kerala. With blessings from the Goddess, drive southward to Alleppey (1 hour drive) for the much lauded Houseboat cruise which is an experience unique to Kerala. Check in at the Houseboat by 12 noon, to embark on a mind-blowing journey in the alluring backwaters. Skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes and swaying coconut palms. Savor lunch and dinner in exquisite Kerala cuisine beside to the welcome drink and tea/coffee/snacks. All the delicacies are cooked and served on board. Still want to add more flavor to your menu? Buy fresh catches from the fishermen passing by. Your chef will cook it for you. The boat anchors by evening at a safe location. Night in the houseboat.

Day 5 : The day of departure

Wake up to the charming sounds of the nature in the middle of the serene backwaters. Breakfast on board. Check out from the houseboat by 9am and as you bid goodbye to a journey that made anchors in your soul. Transfer to the Airport for departure with memories of a lifetime.
